The "McAfeeans" et al are at it again with dire warnings of operating systems such as Android needing security from malware. Just because their DOA sidekick Microsoft gets anything and everything at the drop of a hat even with expensive McAfee installed, these same folks act like other operating systems are just as abysmally feeble and must convince people so just because they probably want to stay in business. Heaven forbid anything superior to Microsoft comes out --- well, wake up and smell the coffee, because every other operating system out there is just that and has already been out.
As usual, the "malware" that they are talking abut deals with strictly "security" issues by users deliberately installing apps that may give out personal information --- that is a far cry from accidently clicking on a picture, a link, making a typo in the address bar, or similar and the whole operating system goes bonkers AND probably sends out your personal information before you know what happened.
When this site had a virus, I fearlessly and bravely kept posting on my Linux or Android with the perfect assurance this was as safe as a contented baby in cozy blankets just fed and burped. Meanwhile, the Microsoft's in my house took a sabbatical. I would not allow them online until I knew it blew over because even with my updated virus protection, the Operating system (as the show goes) would have been "destroyed in seconds"....... :toofunny
