Growth Angels, God Assigned.

In 2008, on my way to "Rolling Thunder" held every year in Washington D.C. I was leading about 12 other Bikers on my Harley Hawg Bagger. 1996 Harley Electra Glide Classic. We were on a New York Thruway doing about 65mph when a young lady in a little red car decided to change lanes in front of me. She came from the right of me and crossed striking my front tire. My big old Harley started jumping up and down.

First, the front tire would come up and down, then the rear tire would come up and down. This repeated the violent up and down jumping for what seemed to be an hour but probably only 30 sec. or so. All of a sudden, I sensed a hand grab my front tire and the jumping stopped immediately.

All the other bikers knew that I was "going down" and when I didn't, they all were simply amazed. Half of the others were Christians and knew it was a miracle, the other un-believing bikers thought I was an amazing biker. I knew that an Angelic force, sent by God intervened and saved my life for sure. My Wife was a few bikes behind me driving our van with a few of the wives in it, and would have run over me for sure.

I posted this just to encourage all you fine folk who might need to know that help is always on it's way in the form of Angels.

Matthew 18:10 says, "See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven." And,

Hebrews 1:14 says, "Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?"

I believe that I can safely say that since Jesus is instructing His Disciples and other adults, we can reason that He is not talking about little children, He is speaking to perhaps new believers and Christians who are still learning the ways of the Lord.

The main point that I want to make is; Angels have been dispatched to every Believer in Jesus to "minister" to the needs of the Saints. Many of us have stories of unexplained events that have taken place at one time or another in our lives. Those supernatural events are to remind us that our Lord Jesus Christ will never leave us or forsake us.

Be encouraged my friends, especially if you are going thru difficult times right now. It may not look like there is an answer to your trouble but remember, God has a fantastic way of finding a way where there is no way. God, at just the right time, will speak a Word and create a resolution to free you from a trial and restore the Joy and peace that He promises for His Sheep, Baa, Baa, Baa, translates in spiritual language, help, help, help. He hears, and He many times tells your Angels, "Go to My Child and end the trial"

Remember, Angels are always on the alert for our needs and as Matthew says Angels, "always see the face of my Father who is in heaven." Wow! Thank you Lord for the service of your holy Angels, and please protect us from the wicked one.

I send mine out to look for the car keys.

That will get a few chuckles, but I have found that if I'm trying to find something, especially if it's lost, I ask Jesus to help me find it and it's amazing that sometimes I find it where I had looked a few moments ago.

When I was in Bible College, I worked part time at a gas station that was owned by a Christian Man who let me work of fellow students cars that needed something done....One Friday night, Ed, a student needed a universal joint replaced on his car's drive shaft. Accidently, I dropped one of the end caps that held its needle bearings. We found all but, you guessed it, one! We looked and looked. The car was on a lift so it was quite easy looking for it.

I'll bet we looked for about an hour and a half. Finally I said, Ed, lets stop and pray that Jesus will help locate the little bearing. I kid you not! I looked down and it was right beside my right shoe on the floor. We both laughed, praised the Lord and fixed Ed's car. So many Christians just don't know that if they would only believe by faith that Jesus can and does help us find lost articles, they can spend a lot of frustrating hours searching for things that stay lost.

By the way, here's a little secret on faith that many folk don't know about. It's found in Galatians 2:20. "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." (KJV)

In my favorite translation other than the KJV, the "English Standard Version" ESV, that reads like this. "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." I don't like how they mis-translated "I live by THE faith of the Son of God." I live by the amount of faith that Jesus gives me out of His Word (Bible) not by some mental exercise on my own.

See the difference? In the KJV, it correctly has the definite article "the" preceding the word faith and the words Son of God. Here is biblical Truth on how to have faith for the supernatural. I personally don't have the faith that God expects me to have when I am asking Him for fulfilling any of His Promises, or for a miracle, He has to provide it, I'm as helpless as a little lamb!

I didn't even have any faith for my Salvation, God had to give me a gift of faith in order to believe that God would save me....I really like what Romans 12:3 and 12:6 have to say about the gift of faith,

Romans 12:3 "For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith."

I believe that the Apostle Paul is saying that the only reason that he has any amount of faith is because of the fact that he didn't deserve any of it but that God gave it to him for the tasks that were before him. One of the problems with a "man of faith" is; along with people's admiration and flattery comes pride! I have noticed that in some of those "healers", they fall into embarrassing situations because of pride, or as Paul puts it "not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think."

The Scripture says "the" which is a definite article pointing to the object "faith". It reads "To every man THE measure of faith" which implies to me, the exact amount of faith or confidence that God see's necessary for Him to answer to the need.

Romans 12:6 is another verse which helps to explain to me this wonderful, necessary Thing called Faith...."Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith."

So between the two verses we have two identifying words, as I call them, measure of faith and proportion of faith which would suggest a number, amount, or degrees.

I'm of the mind that the generation of faith, or the source and origin of faith is the Lord, not us. Lets look at how the ESV translates Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." AND Hebrews 11:6 "And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him."
Believing is the prerequisite for having God answer a request. Why do I believe? Because it's explained in the Word of God, the Bible.

Here is the KJV of Hebrews 11:1" Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen....I just think that the word assurance is easier to understand than substance, and conviction better than evidence. These two elements, assurance and conviction come from Gods Spirit to our spirits based on the Word of God. We have to remember that faith comes from hearing the Word of God, faith does not come from a mental exercise, never!

I hope that this will help some folk, not only understand what faith is, but help them receive from the Lord, the Giver of faith, and the Giver of all good things.

That will get a few chuckles, but I have found that if I'm trying to find something, especially if it's lost, I ask Jesus to help me find it and it's amazing that sometimes I find it where I had looked a few moments ago.

I have some amazing stories about angels in my own life, and Jerry Savelle has an amazing testimony of an angel that opened a closed gas station to fix his car which I might share.

Some good things on the revelation of faith going on here, I hope it helps someone that takes time to read.

I will add shortly:

1) Faith is a substance. It's measurable and it's evidence that something is actually real and there, though we can't yet see it. Faith's substance manifest in the physical realm if Hope is kept focused on it, working by love. God did not create things out of nothing. it says for by faith the Worlds were framed by the Word of God. Things came through a substance of Gods faith by the Word. (Heb 11:1-3)

2) Faith only comes by hearing something and meditating on it, giving it a measure. Meditating on it means the same passage of something God said over and over and over, speaking it, hearing it with your ears, and giving it a important place in your life.

Jos_1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Psa_1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.
(Mar 4:23-24)

3) Faith Starts as a mustard seed that needs planted. Having the faith of a Mustard seed means the Word is in your heart, and it can grow to protect even the birds. What measure you give to the Word will determine the measure and increase back from the Lord.

It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth: But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.
(Mar 4:31-32)
Luk_17:6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

4) Every man has the capacity to have faith, and given a measure to start with and use. It's a gift that needs to be cultivated and exercised. Faith is a awesome gift and if used and taken care of, protecting your heart from the junk of the World, it can put you in perfect peace when everyone else is dying around you. It can stop the mouth of lions, heal any disease, and keep you when everyone else is not being kept. Jesus is looking for those that value this gift and will be looking for it when He returns. It's more precious than Gold even. Trying it will produce the awesome spiritual gift of Patience if you use what faith you have.

Rom_12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Heb_12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Jas_1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

1Pe_1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

1Jn_5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Angels and Faith:
Angles will only move according to your faith. Faith only comes by hearing the Word of God, and faith produced from the Word is angels authority to do as you ask, and move according to something Produced through the Word and increase through the Lord Jesus. This makes sure they never step out of line of the Will of God, and act only according to the Word of God spoken in faith.

Psa_103:20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

Someone speaking doubt in God helping, or speaking fear is the wrong angel and ties the hands of your angels and those ministers God has for you to help. They have to sit by and watch you get mauled by whatever the devil wants to do in your life.

Since everyone has been told now how things work by Chopper and I hope my added notes have helped, there should be no more excuses to not have victory and any excuse to have sad and down days. Way to much power is available to those who put the Word first place in their life over what they see.

Mike.

My Dear Brother Mike made this statement, "Since everyone has been told now how things work by Chopper and I hope my added notes have helped, there should be no more excuses to not have victory and any excuse to have sad and down days. Way to much power is available to those who put the Word first place in their life over what they see."

Yes Brother Mike, your added notes have helped. You have been blessed to rub shoulders (so to speak) with some mighty people of faith, and have witnessed some wonderful miracles as a result. I love your faith stories Mike, they give all of us a boost of expectation when we pray for someone else or ourselves.

Please tell your own faith stories, and if you have time, Brother Savelle's story. This might just be a good time for some excitement.

Well, Jerry Visits us from time to time, and twice He told this. Always blesses me.

Power of things we can't comprehend. Jerry Savelle Helped by what He believes is an angel of the Lord.
Jerry and the wife driving home from ministry meeting on a two lane Texas country road, It was about 2am and Jerry hit something in the road that made a big clank underneath his car. Jerry not knowing what it was just kept driving. It was not long, Jerry noticed that his fuel gage was going down to "E" and pulled over to check out what it was. Jerry is also a Mechanic and did that before going into Ministry. He checked underneath and whatever he hit had flipped up and made a small hole in his gas tank.

So, He and the wife out there in the middle of nowhere. He says to the Lord, Hey Lord, you see where I am at, and nobody is been on this road for the last hour, I know you have a plan, so I'll just wait in the car for you.
k
Just then Jerry saw a pair of headlights pull up behind him. It was a tow truck driver. He gets out and tells Jerry He is there to help, that is all he says. So Jerry offered to help him hook up his car, and help with that, but the guy just said, I am here to help you, I can do it.

So, they pile in the tow truck and the guy drives them to a gas station about 5 miles down the road. Across the street was a closed diner Jerry noticed and a few other buildings but not much else. The guy opens the gas station up, turns on the lights to the garage and asked Jerry to pull his car in.

Jerry offered to help with patching the tank but the guy just kept saying, I am here to help you. So Jerry just waited and about 30 minutes later the guy came up to him and said, You can leave now, it's fixed.

The guy has Jerry go and fill his car up at the pump and Jerry when done went over to pay the guy. The guy said it was on him, and the gas also. Jerry kept insisting to pay, so the guy would not get in trouble with his boss, but the guy assured him that there was no need to pay, and His boss wanted it said no charge.

So, Jerry just said, Glory to God, and the guy looks at him and yells, Glory to the most High. The guy then turns around and walks back into the station.

Jerry and the wife drove home, thanking God for the help..

3 Months later:
Jerry had to take that same road, to go to that same place to minister. He thought He would stop by the station and tell them thank you again and tell the boss thank you. Jerry pulls in, and notices the place is boarded up, the power off, and the pumps were not there. So, Jerry saw that diner he noticed that night and drove over to ask about the guy that owned that station.

The owner of the diner was there, and Jerry talked with him and the guy said that station across the street? Jerry said, Yes, I saw your diner across the street, same diner, same street, same name, same signs around and same station. The owner of the diner said, that is impossible, that station has been closed for over 7 years and boarded up. There has been no electricity or gas over there for a long time.

It was at that moment Jerry knew, He said, an Angel of the lord went, picked us up, fixed my car, and gave me gas.

Jesus said with God, all things are possible (Mark 10)

I love it!!! If we could just follow Brother Savelles example of calling on the Lord for help instead of getting upset because of a breakdown. That sure was a good story, as well as a good lesson, thanks for sharing that. :thumbsup

My First realized encounter with an Angel.
Mind you, most of us have actually talked with and interacted with them without our knowledge.

In prison I chewed Skoal winter green. Well, I ran out and having no money, it sort of sucked. An inmate liked some Gel pens I picked up in another prison and being a artist he wanted them. They were 3.00 a pop, but I never used them so I worked out a deal with him to give him my 3 pens for a can of Skoal. He was to go to the commissary that day and buy me a can of Skoal.

Well, He went, came back with no Skoal. I asked him about it and he called me a Mark, a punk and told me I was getting no Skoal or my pens back. Now the guy was half my size and the thought of a beat down did cross my mind. You can't be punked in front of other inmates. I held my tongue and just walked away. I was extremely mad, so mad that adding a few extra years to my time seemed almost worth it. Then, I had to keep in mind being Christian, we don't go beat people down and put the foo fops on them.

As hard as it was, I said, "Lord, I forgive him, I sow those pens to him, He can keep them and I have nothing against him."

6-9 Months later
I had stopped Chewing Skoal, and was working the 2am shift in the laundry doing dietary whites for the chow hall. It was a great Job, had nobody ever around, and in my own little room with my washer and dryer.

Some guy in green military fatigues walked in my little room. It was not an inmate, so I thought it must be a off duty guard or civilian I never met. Very strange since the building I was in was secure, and only one supervisor working out front should have been in there. He looks at me and says, "Your Mike, right?"
I said ya, what can I do for you.

He reaches in his pocket and pulls out two brand new cans of Skoal, hands them to me and says, "I am to give you these."

I said thank you, but I quit chewing. He said, "That don't matter, I am to give you these."

Being real confused on who this was, I just said, "Glory to God" sort of quit like and thank you.
The guy then says real loud. "Glory to our God"

He then walks out of my room and into the hall. Curious I went to look down the hall to see where he was heading and he was gone. I went out front and asked my supervisor and nobody seen any guy in green fatigues and I was told nobody has movement permission to be in there until 4:am for breakfast.

So, I went back and asked the Lord about it, and the Lord said right away in my spirit. "Son, I always repay, and you forgave, and I am replacing what was taken from you."

I said then, but I stopped chewing, and the Lord said, "I would rather you not chew them, but I owed them to you."

I said right then, Lord, that was an angel I spoke with, You just know things when the light comes on. It also taught me stronger that forgiving someone leaves room for the Lord to repay. I had to go look at those scriptures again, because I thought the Lord gets them back for you, and that is not what it means I come to find out.

Rom 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink: For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee.
(Pro 25:21-22)

Your Angels Are Listening
Creflo A. Dollar

People may doubt the existence of angels, but the Word is clear about the truth. There are heavenly beings assigned to Believers and they are waiting for us to give them assignments daily. Hebrews 1:14 says angels are "ministering" spirits sent to minister to the heirs of salvation. Who are the heirs of salvation? You and me! Angels are part of God's covenant promise of divine protection for those who believe in Him; however, it takes faith to activate angelic power in your life.

Psalm 103:20 says, "Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. Bless ye the Lord, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure." One of the keys to releasing angels in your life is to speak the Word of God. These powerful beings don't just move because you want them to. The Word says they hearken unto the voice of God's Word. That means until you speak the Word of God, they will not go to work on your behalf.

Many people don't believe angels are real, but I am a living witness that they do exist. Had it not been for angels, I wouldn't be here today. Six years ago, I was in a car accident so bad that when the police showed up they called the coroner. They thought everyone involved was dead. I was riding in a truck with other ministers to a finance convention in Sacramento, California, when someone ran a red light and struck the car we were in. When the car hit us, I saw my angels. I am confident it is because of them that my life was redeemed from destruction that day.

The Bible says in Psalm 91:11, 12, "For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone." Isn't it comforting to know God has made provision for your divine protection? It is part of your covenant right as a Christian. All you have to do is receive it by faith and begin commanding your angels on a daily basis.

In Daniel 3, God sent angels to rescue three young men from a fiery furnace—Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego—because they trusted God and refused to bow down to another god. As a result of their faith in God and His protection, the eyes of their persecutors were opened, and Daniel 3:28 says the king of the land had no choice but to acknowledge the God of Israel. Now that's power!

God sends angels to protect His servants. Here are some keys for you to activate angelic protection in your life:

1. Trust
Trust is a force of commitment. When you trust God no matter what is going on around you, you demonstrate your commitment to Him, even in the midst of challenging times. Trust will enable you to release your angels with confidence (Psalm 34:7).

2. Believe
God is committed to those who believe His Word (Luke 1:45, Matthew 18:10). You have to believe God will protect you and angels will carry out this aspect of your salvation at your command.

3. Serve God
Your service to God and His Kingdom provokes angelic protection (Psalm 91:11, AMP).

4. Pray
Jesus said God would have sent twelve legions of angels to His rescue had He prayed for them. Prayer will release angels on your behalf (Matthew 26:51—53).

5. The name of Jesus

Calling on the name of Jesus will secure the attention of all the angels of God. They will come to your rescue (Hebrews 1:6).

6. Command your angels
You have to command your angels and assign them before they can work for you. You command the assistance of angels when you speak the Word of God (Psalm 103:20).

Isn't it good to know you don't have to depend solely on your own ability to protect yourself? Get your angels involved in your protection and walk free from fear every day!

Wow, Chopper. That's a very cool testimony, and an excellent post. It spoke to me on a deeper level and... at the right time. Blessings be upon you and praise be to God, for, one body and Brothers like you.
