What do angels really look like?

And what do they do?

Did you ever notice the way people in scripture react to angels?

This page gives you a bunch of articles about Angels and goes on to Satan and Demonology.
You will have to scroll down a bit, they are asking for donations at the top.

What do angels really look like?

And what do they do?
Greek goddess called Angel

In Greek mythology, Angelos (Ancient Greek: Ἄγγελος) or Angelia (Ἀγγελία) was a daughter of Zeus and Hera who became known as a chthonic deity. The world of the dead (Hell) is her realm of influence, and was assigned an epithet katachthonia ("she of the underworld").

In Ancient Greek; angels known as ἄγγελος (ángelos). In Latin: angels are called "angelus."

(Greek mythology) The daughter of Zeus and Hera, and goddess of the Underworld.

ANGELIA was the personified spirit (daimona) of messages, tidings and proclamations. The English word "angel" derives the same ancient Greek word.

Angel Angelos Adopted biblical term

The Greek term Angelos did not originate with Judaism or Christianity, but was ordinary Greek, in which it can designate either a human messenger or a heavenly “divine” one. The term was adopted into the 3rd century B.C. Greek Old Testament of the bible as a translation in place of the Hebrew word “malach,” and thereby became part of ancient Jewish and later ancient Christian language also.

Angelos. (Greek mythology) Daughter of Zeus and Hera, and a goddess of the Underworld. Angel was the messenger of Hell.

Messengers not Angels.
Angels are from Greek mythology.

The number of wings is parabolic of status.

The Messengers with four wings on Earth later have six wings in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Don't forget, you are reading parables.

Example: "He planted his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land..."

The sea is parabolic for the multitudes. See:
Revelation 17:15
Then the (angel / messenger) said to me, “The (waters / sea) you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages.
The Earth is parabolic for America which came up in a wilderness. It is opposite of the Sea. See:

Revelation 13:11
Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon.

"Beast" is parabolic for Nation-s, Earth is opposite of Sea and is a wilderness, Horns parabolic for strength: American is a Republic with a Democratic process. "Like a lamb" is parabolic for being a Christian nation. Dragons are parabolic of secret society.

There are two dragons, Leviathan and Behemoth. Leviathan is the Dragon of the sea, and Behemoth is the Dragon of the (land / Earth.)

By the way, this world is also called heaven.
Genesis 1:8
And God called the (Earth / firmament) Heaven.

"Angels" is fine. It keeps human messengers distinct from the supernatural messengers.
