Why can't you just let what I'm saying to you sink into your head?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anger, it all too often can get the best of us.

Proverbs 15:1;
"A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger".

I have stirred up anger in others and they have done the same to me.
It's tough.
But we as Christians are suppose to be tough. And the better we handle anger, the more God is pleased with us.

But the other side.
When Jesus got angry, it was with good cause.
When Jesus turned over the tables of the money changers, he told them their wrong and fulfilled prophecy.
When he said to the Pharisees, "you hypocrites", he always followed with a solid teaching of the truth.

Anger is an emotion.
We either use it for good or it gets the best of us.

Either speak as Jesus spoke, or give a soft answer.
Either way, it is pleasing to God.

While there are times when this is what one would like to say in these forums, that's not the real problem. The real problem is you are not allowed to have a polite, non-confrontational opinion.

There are too many hard headed, hard hearted, stuck in their thinking, spiritless, retirees in this forum. We show we know Christ by how we treat other people, not by how much we're sure we know about Christ. Many think Christ is going to applaud our doctrine on the Day of Judgment. He's going to judge our behavior toward others on the Day of Judgment. A lot of people are in for a bigggggg surprise.

"...you may surely reprove your neighbor, but shall not incur sin because of him." (Leviticus 19:17 NASB)

I agree with you Jethro.

I figured out that the emotions anger and fear are very similar in our brain. I *think* that the chemicals that are released in our brain when we feel the emotion are the same or similar.

With this in mind, it can be useful at times if you are scared to channel the fear into anger which is easy to do, and for some reason you can think more clearly when mad than you can when scared. So if you get scared...get mad! Then you have a better chance of survival.

Eph_4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

That is one thing that my dh and I have never let happen. We never let our day end with us angry at one another. Whatever the issue may be it can wait for another day.

I believe there are times and places where righteous anger is justified. I also believe we Christians rarely use it where its applicable, and can be quick to anger where its unnecessary.

Anger is rooted in pride. One who is truly in control of their pride will never be angry, unless we are talking about righteous anger.

Thanks for putting the finger on it.
