I've heard from multiple Christians that animals do not have souls. I, however, disagree. I look at my dogs and their individual and unique personalities and know that it has to come from somewhere. I would like some insight from others as to whether or not animals have souls. Why or why not.

A second thing I ponder is whether animals have free will as humans do.

it seems to me that there are gradations of free will and not total freewill - now what exactly do you mean by soul,where is it located - twinc
