whats your plans when the world goes sour?

I got canned food, IMP's (Military ration, shelf live of 10 years) water, and ammo stockpiled.

Sounds like the right approach to me.

By the way what are you doing about power generation? A wilderness evasion option is also good to have in the vicinity.

Luk 5:16 And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.

Luke 3:9 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Luke 3:10 And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then?
Luke 3:11 He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.

Solar panels, i've got 4

Let's see: We raise our own beef; grow most of our fruits and veggies; we heat our house with a really efficient wood-burning stove (haven't used our heater in 4 years); and we're about as withdrawn into the wilderness as we can get without winding up somewhere else.

Why do you ask, is it bad out there in the world or something?

No, seriously if the world goes sour, I would have a terrible time. Because as much as I might raise cattle, plant veggies, chop wood and draw water from our own well, try as I might, I just can't get by without store-bought toilet paper!

But once the city folk go crazy, the country with all those fresh veggies will be their prime target. thank god for my miltary training,

I'll just roll over like a scared Chihuahua, and do without. I guess.
What's the point in stockpiling? I mean, eventually you have to leave this earth.
As soon as your neighbors know you have food, and water, they will beat the daylights out of you to get it.

I'm one of those "city folk", and yes, it would be impossible to live in case of a holocaust.
You should see the people here, when there's even a threat of a hurricane.
It's crazy, nothing, and I mean, NOTHING is on the shelves, days before the hurricane, and no one has any mercy.
We had a couple of incidents at gas stations, where hotheads got into fistfights over getting to the gas pumps.

If they can find me, they can have my veggies. Maybe I'll grow lots and lots of peas for folks to raid. I hate peas anyways. Or, perhaps Turnorburn will let me borrow his guard dog:
