Bible Study another Jesus, whom we have not preached (2Cor. 11:4)

Are we worshipping "another Jesus" that Paul warned against (2 Cor. 11:4) ?

Perhaps a Jesus who has nothing to do with Christmas ?

Religious folks say, "put Christ back in Christmas"; trouble is, He was never in Christmas to begin with.

The way I look at it is, Christmas as much as it is commercialized is focused on other things, for many people. For many it is a tradition and a tradition only . But I believe that God can use anything to open the eyes of some folk. If at one time of the year, some folk turn their thoughts towards the Son of God and realize the gift that God gave to the world, even if for one day, this to me is a blessing. God can use it. Just my view. God bless.

What is Christmas?

It is the Christ Mass. A special Mass offered on 25th December to purify the pagan feast of Mithras so that instead of the feast of Mithras, it becomes the feast of the Christ Mass.

when paul said that he meant pharisees worshipping a pharisee satanic judgemental god.

when paul said that he meant pharisees worshipping a pharisee satanic judgemental god.

Jesus is a judgemental God. Jesus is a God of justice.

Jesus was the God of the OT.

But was he satanic?

And some view ChristMas as a 'birthday' of the Lord... Along with St. Nick being there (I know, it's really the 6th)

Huuman judgement is nonseeing bitter wrath whom the judgemental people call righteousness while it has nothing do to with the light but with dark bitterness. Jesus makes things right. judgement is only happening after many chances of repentance. after people deny when he came for a whole lifetime of trying to pull them by his love. not at all like humans. and before jdugement, jesus choose forgiveness. dont you ever judge, mine is the rwath, said the Lord. Our job is to bring people to Christ forgiveness not his righteous judgement. that is not of our concern. we judge, and we shall be judged.

amen, amen and amen

we are supposed to come out of darkness, out of ignorance and follow the spirit of truth.

mithramass is not christian truth.

we don't have to go to the pagan world to find holydays for our God. He gave His followers "appointed times" at the very beginning (Gen 1:14) -- the Hebrew word for "seasons" is the same word Hebrew word used for "feasts" in Lev. 23.

all gods have their own set of holy days, yahweh is no exception. we belong to yahweh, not some other god.
