any jiu jitsu or MMA fans here???

Very misunderstood sport, but once youre in it.....you're hooked! Lots of great Christians that TV just doent highlight all too often unfortunately....
 
I like MMA but I'm kind of torn. It is extremely violent, much more so than any other sport I've seen.

I keep coming back to Psalm 11:5 when I think about MMA type sports:

The LORD examines the righteous, but the wicked and those who love violence his soul hates.

I don't think God wants us immersing ourselves in blood sports like this. I like most all sporting event's but does this one go too far? I don't know.
 
I'm torn as well.

Does God really want us beating the crap out of eachother for money?

BTW, I understand all the ins and outs of mma.
 
I dig me some MMA, I don't follow it as much as I used to but I still watch from time to time.
