Any Southern Gospel Fans....

Do we have any other southern Gospel fans here?

I am a soutern gospel fan. I don't like real country singing, but the Gaither Vocal Band, pretty good. Charles Johnson, I like also. S.G. takes me back to my childhood. Although I like some, not much, of the praise and worship, or whatever it is they sing now, alot of the songs don't seem to have any depth like the songs of years ago. Tell me some good groups to check out.

I like Southern Gospel. Two of my favorite cds are of old hymns being sung by country and Southern gospel singers. I love singing and listening to hymns. Amy Grant does a beautiful rendition of "Marching to Zion" on one of her albums. (I think it may be her latest one, but I'm not sure.) Anyway...Southern gospel is awesome!

So then you would enjoy the Cathedrals, the Blackwoods, groups of this nature?

The Cathedrals are a southern gospel quartet. If that is the kind of music you like you would like them. Do you know who the Gaither Vocal Band is?
Well they are a quartet also. Very good uplifting music.
