Any writing prompts & suggestions?

I've discovered several magazines which are currently accepting submissions for non-fiction articles. This is absolutely wonderful, but my problem is I can't think of what to write about. Basically, I need a writing prompt or two or ten that I can base the article around (or several articles). Any suggestion? All help is vastly appreciated. The topic can be just about anything in Christendom.

What you know about most is what you may be able to express best. Being Biblically informed is essential.

So non fiction in Christendom? could you maybe think of a silly example that could at least give an idea of what you want?
