ok, it would better said to the hebrews. yes its in genesis where the land promises are concerned according to some and also ezekiel 36-38. depending if one is a futurist of course.

Israel doesn't "belong" to the Jews. The Jews are merely one tribe (Judah) of the 12 tribes that comprise the nation called Israel.... which belongs to God.

Hi Julian,

I haven't studied this too closely but here is some Scripture for you.
Genesis 13:14-15

New King James Version (NKJV)

14 And the Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: “Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are—northward, southward, eastward, and westward; 15 for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants[a] forever.


The problem here is that Muslims say the promises of God came down through Ishmael, and not Isaac. They would say the Jews corrupted the Scriptures. Of course they would know. Their 'holy' book arrived on the scene after 600 A.D., roughly 1600-1700 years after the Torah was given. There is no way Muslims can say the Jews corrupted the Scriptures with any sound reason with so much time separating their version of god with the Old Testament writings. All we can do is take the oldest manuscripts we have and see if they are the same to make sure they are consistent. The better question is, how does Allah uphold justice while forgiving sinners? No Muslim knows! They say he just decides.

The verse Davies just gave you says it all, but this generation should understand that the Arabians and the children of Moab and Ammon are today's Palestinians. After the LORD put them in Babylon for 70 years they returned to Jerusalem and who was at the gates? The children of Moab and Ammon. What did Nehemiah tell them?
"Then I answered them, and said unto them, "The God of heaven, He will prosper us; Therefore we His servants shall arise and build: But ye have no portion, nor right, nor memorial, in Jerusalem." Nehemiah 2.20
Now, after God scattered them throughout the world, the Ammonites and the Moabites again took the land, this time for 1800 years. So, when the children of Israel came back, in 1948, who was at the gates of Jerusalem? But now the Lord tells them, in Zephanian chapter 2,
"The residue of My People shall spoil them, and the remnant of My People shall possess them."
