Anyone in Sault St Marie Ontario?

Any one here live in Sault St Marie Ontario? I am going on a Military course there this summer.

Gonna be making some noise with the 105 Howitzers :-D

Hey John, I live just outside the thumb. We've been thinking about possibly launching our boat at Port Huron (we normally launch from Lexington) and taking it up an over to Lake Michigan... maybe even Chicago... Not sure yet, it may depend on the price of gas.

If we do take the trip, I'll see what it takes to get to Sault St. Marie! It would be fun to meet you!

First i would need to find out if i will have the weekends off (i usably do) Prepare for an expected change of plans, because the higher-ups like to change their minds a lot. A way of contact would be needed email,phone (preferably phone) that i could reach you in case plans go sour.

Then arrange a meeting place in a place where I've never been, lol

And i still need to find out how far the base is from said meeting place so i can get transportation (i am not old enough to rent a car and i can't bring mine) so it needs to be within taxi range,lol

And if the above all works out fine, i would help pay for your gas, as long as it does not take up my entire paycheck, lol

So if your still up to it, i'm game.

That all sounds good John :D Again, I'm not sure if we're going to do make the trip, but I'd like too. I spoke about making the trip to my wife last year, and she likes the idea of camping in the boat for a couple of days. I wonder how much of the trip my son would be in his inner tube :
