Apollyon Rising 2012

Has anyone read this book? According to this book so far, the founding fathers of America are a bunch of heathens and George Bush speaks in some sort of "prophetic" code about bringing forth the ancient hope.

I don't know whether or not the book is trust-worthy yet until I dig into the sources. The founding fathers part appears pretty good so far though.

I've heard of the book before but wasn't certain of what it was. When I was in the Christian section in Barnes and Nobles, I saw the Jefferson Bible. Knowing what the book by Thomas Jefferson was, I figured I'd move it myself to the new age section. When I took it around I spotted Apollyon rising. The first thing it talks about is the Jefferson bible and his beliefs.

Frankly, Ben Franklin is one according to the book as well.

Apparently some bodies were found under the home of Benjamin Franklin and they had black marks as though they were burned. The author believes this possibly ties into the alleged satanic rituals that he took part in when he was in the "hellfire club"

Some books against Deism fell into my hands; they were said to be the substance of sermons preached at Boyle's lectures. It happened that they wrought an effect on me quite contrary to what was intended by them; for the arguments of the deists, which were quoted to be refuted, appeared to me much stronger than the refutations; in short, I soon became a thorough deist. Ben Franklin.

A few of the Founding Fathers were Deists but the vast majority were Christians and a large percentage were even pastors. In fact, there are more references to the Bible in the U.S. Constitution by far than to any other source. I can't speak directly to your novel, but I would hold any book that calls the Founding Fathers heathen suspect and find other reading material.

These are the few that they list in the beginning: Thomas Paine, Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin, John Adams, and George Washington.

I haven't read more of the book yet, as I have much I'm trying to cram in at one time. So it may or may not go into more founding fathers. I'm sure that there may be true Christians in power, but unfortunately it seems hard to tell as some are involved with the occult. "Occult" means esoteric or secret rather than evil. However God will expose secrets and lies, and he knows what they are, so it's nothing much to worry about but interesting to ponder.
