Are all Christian's hypocrites?

Knowing our nature, "hypocrite" just doesn't work. We are all broken and will all have set backs. That does not make us hypocrites. It makes us human.

.

If we were so "perfect" without imperfections that need to be put through the fire to purge the dross from off of it, would we be in need of the Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus?

Does the broken vessel need the mending or the perfect vessel?

Is it not the imature child who is the one in need of growing into maturity?

There is a huge difference between the Repentant and the Unrepentant.

and yet, we do not give up hope..... Hence, the Prodigal son! Paul the Aposlte and many others who came to salvation through the Grace of our Lord.

Jesus knows those who are stubborn in hypocracy.... Those who are unwilling to repent... those Pharasee who judge but do not look to repent of their own sins, but insist on their stone throwing.

Hard for me to say....for I have felt and sometimes still do feel that everyone plays the role of a hypocrite seeing as all too often the term 'do as I say, not as I do' tends to be the example we often want our children to follow.

I am by no means a saint, I try hard to live a life in accordance to scripture, but unfortunately come up short.

My personal opinion is that every person on the planet that can speak is a hypocrite. When I say that of course it is all in different degrees and attitudes. It is hard for people to see themselves and we often speak without thinking. I know many people do not intend to be hypocrites but somewhere along the line we all seem to fall into it somewhere. It is hard to be perfectly consistent all the time.
I have never met a person who was not a hypocrite. That does not mean they are one all the time. We are not perfect beings and we make mistakes. So of course Christians are going to be hypocrites also. I don't think anyone wants to be labeled a hypocrite but if you can show me someone who is not one at some time I would be surprised. Maybe I am cynical but my life experience of 58 years has shown me all people have exhibited some kind of hypocrisy at times. Some more than others.
Ignorance of ones own self can cause it and the inability to look within and see oneself can contribute to that. I do not go around pointing out peoples hypocrisy unless it is a constant irritating trait they have. Most people arent aware they are and I just let it go and chalk it up to being human. Christians are human and imperfect as much as anyone else is. It sometimes seems to me Christians are worse hypocrites though only because we are held to a high standard that Jesus Christ represents. So people think Christians are supposed to be these perfect people. Many like to tell others how to live so their hypocrisy sticks out like a sore thumb. So my answer to you is yes, but so is everyone else.
Just my experience, observations and opinion.

May Jesus Christ bless us all with self awareness.

The real point isn't whether all Christians have been or even will be hypocrites. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. The point is... we desire to please God... and that goes a long way with how God let's us feel about ourselves. There are times when any Christian can be grieved in their spirit because they know that they fall short. True believers know they have a Savior, that is faithful and just to forgive their sins.
Good Christians spend more time edifying (building up) each other up, than they do tearing each other down, especially if they know that other believer is sincere in their faith.
Believers know more about the fallibility of man, than unbelievers.
We also know more about forgiveness and repentance than they do.
Bless the Lord Oh my soul and all that is within me...bless His Holy name.
