i saw a few series on you tube that show this relationship does exist. it was put together by christian groups to warn people about the dangers of there common background.

the series are- hell's bells - the dangers of rock and roll(it is in 18 parts), pt. 1/40 hells bells2, they sold their souls to rock and roll, and they sold their souls to rock and roll- aleister crowley.

also, a man named, john todd, gave his testimony on this very subject. he was a professed witch that converted to christianity and was a big executive for the zodiac record label back in the 60's ans 70's.

In the past here on the forums, I have attempted to offer insight into the origins of music. MOST of what I offered was disputed to the point that it became apparent that NO ONE REALLY CARED. Some even SAID, "If God Himself came down and told me what you say, I'd STILL play my electric guitar".

YES, music itself is of ONE form or THE OTHER. There is NO in-between. It is one of the MOST spiritual forms of worship KNOWN to mankind. It has the POWER to change THE WORLD. While ORIGINALLY designed as communion between God and man, it has the POWER to lead to JUST the opposite in the hands of those that worship OTHER gods. And I refer NOT ONLY to lyrics, but the MUSIC itself.

Music, like the REST of the 'arts' are NOTHING BUT a 'form of worship'. Just LOOK at the nature of the music industry and one can plainly see that it is DESIGNED around 'worship'. Idol worship at it's FINEST. We even CALL those musicians that we worship IDOLS. It couldn't be MORE blatant. But you will STILL find those that will UTTERLY deny the truth for the LACK of understanding. ANd many of these those that PROCLAIM to BE 'Christian'.

Blessings,

Why does it matter if some "rock and rollers" do witchcraft? Does that make a style of music "evil"?

if a man does worship music but has a secret life of witchcraft is all worship music suddenly evil and connected to witchcraft? no

lets not fly into legalism, its a very tiring and pointless thing to the fait

if you look back at history and you can see that the origins of the whole style of rock and roll music was inspired by corrupt men annointed by satan and all his demons of hell and they were involved in the occult or witch craft and then you see so-called christians bring that devil inspired music in the church, that is wrong

I'm gonna have to say that rock n' roll probably doesn't come from the devil. Yes, rock n' roll can have satanic connotations but that does not mean that the entire genre should be cast off as evil. What did Bob Dylan's music do? It tried to convince the new generation to discard the contradictory, traditional practices of the old generation in an effort to create a new world in peace and harmony.

If music starts making me want to rebel against God, I will stop listening to it. But whenever I listen to music, especially rock n' roll and heavy metal, it inspires me to pick up my electric guitar and practise in the hope that I will be able to make music for God. Because that is the whole purpose of music in my eyes: to glorify God.

To them that LOVE this world, music is merely a 'part of it'. So, what I have to offer could NOT be understood or accepted BY The World.

So MUCH has been altered since 'the beginning' that MOST are COMPLETELY out of touch with the TRUE reality. Caught up in the SENSES they become BLIND to the spirit.

Kenan,

Why NOT say? There is indication in writtings that Satan may WELL HAVE BEEN the, 'let's say', Choir director in Heaven BEFORE being 'cast out'. We also know that he was THE GIFTED of ALL angels. So, is it truly such a stretch to say that ALL music that is NOT 'of God' IS of Satan?

We KNOW that there is NO GREY MATTER with God. WIth US there is MUCH that MANY would contend IS GREY. But in TRUTH, EVERYTHING is either OF GOD or NOT. And that which is NOT is of Satan. We use the term 'world' very lightly now days. The Word BELONGS to Satan. That is WHY we are TO Separate ourselves FROM it.

Blessings,

MEC

And how about this: What if the REASON that MOST are unable to SEE the truth concerning 'music' is that they DON'T CARE where it COMES from so long as it APPEALS to their senses? And do we NOT respond to 'those things of this world' that appeal to our senses?

Blessgings,

MEC

I wondered the same thing myself. :halo

The moonbatistic lengths some will go to to discredit a neutral instrument of the human race.

Easy for you to say, you don't know the master.

Your proof for that is...?

Presumptious much, are you? Methinks so. :halo

Music is neutral. It's the lyrics, I think, that determine its content and whether or not it is worthwhile or edifying. A song played with a loud rock electric guitar is no more necessarily evil than music played with harp and glockenspiel is necessarily good (positive). I wouldn't classify what I listen to as "rock and roll" because to me, that connotes something like Elvis Presley, and I'm more into Nine Inch Nails. But rock music can be anything, just depends on what message the artist is trying to send.
