Are the majority Christian doctrines always the most Biblical? For example, most Christians believe in the trinity. But just because the majority believes that, does that make it Biblical?

There are a lot of doctrines that are not biblical. Take the "rapture"

According to Jesus Himself, He will send his angels to gather the elect "immediately AFTER the tribulation". Many believe it will be before the tribulation but there is no biblical evidence for this whatsoever but that doesn't keep people from believing it. They would rather believe man than God because it makes them feel better to think they will escape the tribulation.

As far as the trinity goes, I was raised catholic so I was taught this. I still believe in a triune God but not exactly the way a catholic does.

Bottom line: There have been many untruths and heresies inserted into the christian faith. I even know some christians that hate the Jews because "they killed Christ!" The fact that Christ Himself and the apostles were all Jewish doesn't seem to matter to them.

Pre-wrather ?
I am.
I believe we will go thru the whole tribulation period but will be saved from Gods wrath.
I agree that there is no real support for a pre trib 'rapture'.
if anything scripture shows that the 'elect' will face the tribulation but those days will be cut short.
for then shall be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world to this time; no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days should be shortened, no flesh would be saved. But for the elect's sake, those days shall be shortened.
(Mat 24:21-22)

As far as the OP is concerned, I dont think the problem is with many of the doctrines being so far off as much as that our HEARTS are far from Him.
We can believe a truth but hate the one giving the truth.
Even the demons believe and tremble.

I agree with what you say.

That doesn't speak to those who sat listening to David Koresh. They loved him even when he claimed to be the messiah. It was their biblical illiteracy and laziness that allowed them to be taken in. They wanted a god they could see and touch. Their faith was weak so they fell prey to a user. Koresh knew the bible backwards and forward but his followers didn't or if they did, they chose to ignore much of it.

Take for example where Jesus says that if you have 2 coats and see a man with no coat give him one of yours. Simple and to the point but how easy is it for us to actually do that? We will make excuses or say to ourselves "I already gave to Goodwill". We do the same with doctrine. We try to tailor it to what we are willing to believe.
