Hi to all , and legalism seem to reign with many believers , and just like to hold on to the 10 Commandments .

1) Lets see what Paul reveals about the Law of Moses in Rom 13:8-10 .

#1 , In verse 8 , owe no man any thing .

#2 , v9 , Thou shall not commit adultery .

#3 , v9 , Thou shall not kill .

#4 , Thou shall not bear false witness .

#5 , Thou shall not covert .

#6 , v9 , Thou shall love thy neighor as thyself .

#7 , Then in v10 , love FULFILLS the Law .

#8 , v14 , if we put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh , to fulfill the LUSTS thereof .

#9 , As we notice , this is only a partial list of the 10 , and I believe that reason that the others are NOT REQUIRED is because ALL BELIEVERS are " in Christ " and we are in the Body of Christ with Christ as the Head .

#10 , That is why the SABBATH is not rquired .

How does the Bible define love ???? :-) verses that say.... this is love : ...this is the love of God.......

Only a legalist asks a question like "what's the minimum requirement - or what is not required"

Love never asks such a question, it's freely received and it freely gives. It's a relationship thing, not a case for lawyers. Legally married? Or because of love?

Ever said to your spouse "According to our legal contract I'm under no obligation to watch the kids next Saturday" - hahaha, ok, maybe that sounds more like a 'close to or already after divorce' scenario? How would someone in love with their spouse respond to a reasonable request?
