Hello all, my name is Thomas. I believe that it's very important to know if we're following the true God, because the bible tells us that there many Gods.

"And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods." 2 Chronicles 2 5

" But if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them;" 2 Chronicles 7:19

If we break the true God laws and statues, we're serving other Gods. For example in Jeremiah the 10th chapter, God tells us to stay away from Christmas. This holiday at the time wasn't called Christmas yet because Christ wasn't on earth yet. It was being celebrated by the Pagans who was worshipping Tammuz and Nimrod as Gods. The True God warns us of its custom.

(Typing on Ps3, ran out of space. next post)

"Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel: 2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. 3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. 4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. 5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good" Jeremiah 10 1-5

In verse 5 the Lord says "be not afraid of them" because it was told back in babylon that Nimrod's spirit was in the tree, and if people didn't do this Nimrod's spirit would haunt them.

Why didn't my pastor tell me this? Job 9 24 says " The earth is given into the hand of the wicked.." So, how can I expect this world to tell me anything about the True GOD?

If we want to follow the True GOD, we must,

"Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them." Isaiah 34:16

None of the Bible prophecies shall fail, and you can't mate the Bible with any other book. It stands alone

This world tells us that we have to go to school to learn of the bible. What school did Moses attend? What school did Christ go to? They tell you this so they can teach you paganism. The holy spirit will teach you the word.

We know we are following God if we love the brethren. Are we walking in a supernatural power and love? If we are then Christ is in us doing it through us. No man is justified in mere doctrine or belief. We wil know them by their love.

In order for us to show that we're following and that we love the the Most High and Christ, we must follow the commandments.

"If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love." John 15:10

"If ye love me, keep my commandments." John 14:15

"Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode in him." John 14:23

"And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it." 2 John 1:6

"For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous." 1 John 5:3

It's crystal clear, In order for us to follow the True God and Christ we must follow his commandments. That's how we know we're walking in Christ and how we show love to the Father. So, how come some Christian churches teach that the law is done away with? Are they following the true God. Christ said it himself

"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil." Matthew 5:17
