Are We Missing A Move Of God In America?
One would assume the answer here would be no, but my sister shared with me a vision a few months ago that I assumed was about the US and suggested the opposite. It suggested most American Christians are hunkered down like soldiers waiting out a spiritual winter of sorts, and not thinking in terms of a move of God right now, when a closer look at what's actually going on is the makings of a revival in our midst, and it's something the Spirit-filled church at the very least should be getting behind.
The vision she shared was as follows:
Vision of the Lord,
This morning I was sitting out the back porch thinking about some of the visions I have been seeing in the past day or two. The Lord came up to me walking on a cloud, and he held out his hand, saying,“Come. I want to show you something" (without speaking any words). I went with the Lord on the cloud, and then the cloud parted. He said, “Look,” and I looked down. I saw a large field of dried grassland. In the grassland, there were many soldiers bent down and hiding, and they dotted right across the field. They were wearing camo gear, only their camo was visible because they were gray, black, and white. Something I would think was more suitable for other types of terrain, like perhaps in the snow or something. Then the Lord said, “My land is being devastated and my people are not listening. I want you to write what you see. ”Then I said, “But Lord!” and he said, "WRITE." (vision ended).
I sensed this was about the US - famous for its grasslands - but the land being devastated is our own because there is no spiritual rain falling. No outpourings of the Holy Spirit are taking place, and yet there IS a revival taking place on US campuses. Unfortunately "My people are not listening" means most are hunkered down in dried up fields where no harvest is taking place, oblivious to what God is doing amongst the nation's college-aged populace. But much of God's army is preparing for spiritual war like they are in Canada, where a significant revival has not taken place in more than 50 years, instead of preparing for a spiritual harvest.
Are we missing a move of God, because we're expecting something else?
