Are you a fan of traditional foods? Not all those concoction served in supermarkets or canteens etc. I mean, the cultural foods. I am a fan. I may find it difficult to get used to modern (so called )foods. I prefer to eat my kind of food than to try varieties that may send me a dozen times to the toilet.

And also the real traditional food is traditional only when it is freshly prepared - not canned and preserved and sold. I'm I strange? They lose their real taste when canned nd stored for long

Who's traditional foods? :shrug

I like your traditional home cooking and meat and potatoes. That is how I was brought up.I am somewhat of a purist.I don't like adding different things to my favorites. For instance no cinnamon in my french toast batter. No strawberries and whipped cream on my waffles or pancakes only butter and syrup.I am funny in that way.
Some traditions I like:
1)Spaghetti and lasagna
2)Meat loaf
3) Steak
4) Pork Chops
5) Navy Bean soup,potato soup,lentil bean soup
6) Fried Chicken and BBQ Chicken
7) Hamburger steak
8) Pizza
9) Cheeseburgers and French fries (my personal favorite)
10) Shrimp and Crab Louis (this is a very large salad)
Those are some of my traditional favorites.

What counts as traditional varies from one culture to the other. Some "traditional" foods and the countries they come from include fried spiders (Cambodia), Witchetty grub (Australia), pickled whale blubber (Iceland), haggis (Scotland) and blood sausages (various countries). I wouldn't eat any of those, but if you just mean food like gandma used to make, then I'm okay with most of it.
