1 Corinthians 16:15-16 I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,) That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth.

16:17-18 I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied. For they have refreshed my spirit and yours: therefore acknowledge ye them that are such.

  • Many of us today have "addicted" ourselves "to the ministry of the saints." His Word is an addiction...a wonderful addiction. I recognize this in others and to them, and you know who you are, I submit myself to learn from you for you supply me with knowledge I lack. The Holy Spirit teaches us and we are to share that knowledge with others.

You refresh my spirit and I do acknowledge and thank you. :clap

Malachi 3:16-17 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was writen before Him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon His name. And they shall be Mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up My jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.

Amen to that!

After months of searching, I finally found a God loving Church who are independent from any denomination.
The Pastor is in his 70's and he gives the Word with such passion and conviction that I feel the Holy Spirit in action. The emotion is real, and when we pray I am weeping with love for my Saviour. It is a blessing to hear the Word come through a man in such a way that it leaves no doubt that God is using him for His glory!

I thank the Lord for leading me to them because I was almost giving up with so called Churches in my area.

Our Father does lead us...He puts us just where we need to be when we need to be there. Sometimes you can feel Him shoving a bit, for at times it takes a little extra push to situate us. :lol
