2. Confession of belief
3. Repentance
4. Baptism for the remission of sins

Hi holy999

I don't usually respond to your posts. Just a bit too disjointed for me, however, this is an issue that is dear to me. No, I am not saved. I am a born again believer in the Lord, Jesus. The Son of the only living God and Creator of all that exists. I have the deposit of God's Spirit within me, though. He keeps insisting to me that I will be saved on the day of God's judgment. According to Paul, that's the best we can expect in this life. He is the Deposit that we hold within ourselves that God will, on the day of His judgment, redeem us. We won't any of us be saved, until the day of great loss when so very, very many will be lost. On that day, God will open up the Books of Life and the Lamb's Book of Life.

All that is written in the Books of Life shall be made known, but then my loving Father is going to look over to that other book. In that one, He will find that His Son wrote my name down as one of his. Then I will be saved. I will be saved from the utter and eternal torment and damnation of those whose names just aren't there.

What I have today, living this life, is the assurance of God's soon coming salvation. But as Paul said, not having attained it yet.
