Argentine 2023 Presidential Candidate Javier Milei against Abortion

Tucker Carlson: You oppose abortion why?

Because as someone who believes in liberalism, I’ll say libertarian liberal, because in English, the word “liberal” means something different… So let me say, as a libertarian, we believe that liberalism entails the unrestricted respect for the lives of others, rooted in a principle of non-aggression, and the defensive life, liberty, and property. And if we cleave to these ideas of liberty, one of the most fundamental aspects is to defend the right to life.

Philosophically speaking, I'm in favor of the right to life.

Beyond that there is a scientific justification to be had. It is the fact that life begins at conception. It's at that very instant that a new being begins to evolve. With its own unique DNA. While it's true that women have a right to their own bodies the child in a woman's womb is not her body. That makes abortion a murder, enabled and aggravated by a power imbalance against a child that has no way to defend itself. And beyond that there is a matter of mathematics. Life is a continuum with two quantum leaps: birth and death. Any interruption in the interim is murder.-Argentine 2023 Presidential Candidate Javier Milei.

To that we add a pertinent Scripture from the Law of Moses:

22 "If men fight, and hurt a woman with child, so that she gives birth prematurely, yet no harm follows, he shall surely be punished accordingly as the woman's husband imposes on him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.
23 "But if any harm follows, then you shall give life for life,
24 "eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,
25 "burn for burn, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.
(Exod. 21:22-25 NKJ)

That is powerful apologetic.

At Frame 24:17 regarding abortion and socialists, perhaps thinking of the early years of the Russian Revolution
of 1917, when the Soviet government, under Vladimir Lenin and later Joseph Stalin, implemented progressive policies on women's rights and reproductive health. Abortion was legalized in 1920, and the Soviet government actively promoted family planning and contraception.

24:17 there is also a darker side to this agenda. its a murderous agenda, the agenda of abortion. As a consequence of what humans are doing to the planet, they promote the murder of people still in their mother’s womb. Abortion. Its a policy that has always failed throughout the world. and it’s terrible not only by virtue of its failure, but because it is a blood thirsty policy, in which some humans believe they should decide who should live and who should not. it’s the utmost expression of hubris: How a person can decide who will live and who will not. I want to say it clearly: The socialists' hands are stained with blood, they will always have blood on their hands.- Javier Milei.

Apologetics is defending the Christian faith. This is not an apologetics topic.

Abortion not an apologetics topic? Since when?

Where and when were Christians silent about assault on the helpless, when official policy enabling it become something that doesn't contradict the Christian faith?

Something that goes against the faith doesn’t automatically mean it’s an apologetics topic. Abortion is opposed by many outside Christianity, even atheists, who have their own anti-abortion organizations.

Evidently apologetic sites wouldn't agree. Question remains, what harm is there discussing reasons for not killing babies, in the name of Christianity? I can't see a downside.

The above is very true...
but a person CAN defend their faith in the area of abortion.

Plus, where else could it go?
I can't even think of another Forum...
