I'm an amateur artist looking for a few bucks. Things I can draw include pet portraits, anthropomorphic animals, and characters from TV shows, movies, and cartoons. I offer a few types of commission types, which I will detail below.
Sketches are typically quickly done drawings and tend to be rougher than their finished product would be.
Colored sketches are what the name implies: sketches with coloring, and any shading is more simple and less detailed shading than a fully shaded drawing.
Flat colored drawings consist of lines filled with simple coloring and no shading.
Fully shaded drawings are completed drawings where the main focus is the shading and lighting and their use in exposing details.
These finished works often include thin lines, but can be completely lineless if desired.
The different tpyes of backgrounds
Commissions where no background is requested will have a transparent background.
A simple background will typically either be abstract or one very simple and little detailed, doing little more than to show the subject's basic environment.
A detailed background is detailed about the subject's environment and the objects in it. It usually is not as detailed as the subject itself, however.
To put it in a way easier to define: if the background is detailed enough that it takes as long or longer to draw than it did to draw the subject, I'll consider it a detailed background.
