Bible Study As We Observe The Seventh Day Sabbath As A Sign Between Him And Us Being Holy/Scripture

The Sabbath was given to the Israelites as a sign of their Covenant with God (Ex 31:13 & 16-17).
It was never given to Gentiles.
Correction; the Sabbath was given to mankind.
Mark 2:27
Then he said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.

Man, as in mankind. It does not say the Sabbath was made for the Jews.

Gentile’s kept the Seventh Day Sabbath

Pisidian Antioch in the Roman Empire

Acts 13
13 From Paphos, Paul and his companions sailed to Perga in Pamphylia, where John left them to return to Jerusalem. 14 From Perga they went on to Pisidian Antioch. On the Sabbath they entered the synagogue and sat down. 15 After the reading from the Law and the Prophets, the leaders of the synagogue sent word to them, saying, “Brothers, if you have a word of exhortation for the people, please speak.”16 Standing up, Paul motioned with his hand and said: “Fellow Israelites and you Gentiles who worship God, listen to me!

44 On the next Sabbath almost the whole city gathered to hear the word of the Lord. 45 When the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy. They began to contradict what Paul was saying and heaped abuse on him.
46 Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: “We had to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles.

48 When the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and honored the word of the Lord; and all who were appointed for eternal life believed.

The first Gentile converts kept the Sabbath, and so therefore it was not an issue.

There is also this in regards to the Sabbath commandment.
Romans 13:9
The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Exodus 20:8
Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.
Keeping Sunday as the Sabbath, Christians are following a law of the Catholic Church. Keeping Sunday, and also keeping Christmas and Easter, Christians are accepting the authority of the spokesman for the church, the Pope.

Catholic Priest T. Enright, CSSR, Kansas City, MO:
It was the holy Catholic Church that changed the day of rest from Saturday to Sunday, the 1st day of the week. And it not only compelled all to keep Sunday, but at the Council of Laodicea, AD 364, anathematized those who kept the Sabbath and urged all persons to labor on the 7th day under penalty of anathema.
