Hey, I have a question. I'm sorry if this should have been put in another forum...anyway.

Where do you guys get the avatars? Is there a web-site somewhere with a bunch to choose from or do you just randomly find them? I would like to put one in my profile if I just knew where to find them.

there are some websites that do have avatars, however it is easier to just make one out of a picture. just go to google images and type in whatever you want and save it to your computer. I think it has to be in JPEG format or something, then just upload it to this website. I got mine by just typing in Pope John Paul II, but I had to scale it down alot to make it fit.

Man, I don't even like calling them avatars due to the very definition is what is an avatar, but for lack of a better word...

I make my own using a program called "Flash MX"

however, Most of mine would not be acceptable here, because they promote other beliefs, or show the incompitence of gov't leaders...


here are a few that i can show.

*please note, they are all much smaller than the avatar size here (80x80 i think) because I use them as AOL icons, which onyl alow 48x 48 (and tiny kb size :-/)
