Man oh man. I tell you what. Everyday I find a new reason not to leave New England and "fire season" is one of them!
Haha. You know what? I love where I live too! It would take a lot to make me move elsewhere.

Oh I hate New England. I'm just slowly realizing everywhere kind of stinks also :lol

Except Alaska. I have yet to find a flaw with Alaska. Heck they even have areas where booze is illegal.

Well it's pretty cold in Alaska. That's a reason not to move there. :D

I love my home.... I am so thankful God has allowed me to live here.

Silly Nick, that's the best reason to live there!!!

I hate the heat and the summer and the humidity

No! :chair Cold is bad! :lol

Perhaps i should move to New England then? :D

Nick how come you dont fall off the earth? That worried me about 60 years ago

I don't know. It gets cold here, just it isn't cold all year round, you see. And the summers are real humid. We got 6 feet of snow in two weeks over the last winter. That was delightful... on the other hand it hit 96 degrees with 98% humidity last week

96 degrees? Give me a break! We get 104+ in the summer. It's got up to 115 a few times in Sydney. But I agree, it's the humidity that really hits you.

But the Heat Index on a 96 degree day with that much humidity is well into the 120+

My tolerance level is hit at about 80 degrees dry heat.

True. We get high humidity too. Often we have a few days of incredible heat with high humidity, then we get a thunderstorm in the evening. Then the next day the cycle starts again.

High dry desert here everyone has a tube of chapstick in every pocket, glove box, saddle bag and lets not forget the floor of the pickup!
