Nope, the story about the Yankees having 27 World Series Titles is 100% non-fiction!

It's nice to see some more Baseball fans about the sit these days, anyone interested in a fantasy league this year?

Oh, you're gonna be trouble for sure! :D

I never did fantasy, I don't think I'd do well with it. Thanks for asking!

I did my first fantasy football this year... Fantasy Baseball seems even more extra confusing, but I do love Baseball, so I'd give it a shot...

I'm in! If for no other reason than to beat a Yankee fan! :-)

Can the thundering bats of the Philadelphia Phillies propel them to their third World Series in a row?

I'll be honest I am a vet in fantasy baseball, but I've never won a league. Louis, we've got three in, if we can get another three we'd have a solid start to a league and there would be plenty of stars to go around. I've got experience as a a league commish so I could make the stats new player friendly.

I sure hope so! :eyebrow
Roy Halladay will help their staff, wish they could have kept Cliff Lee too. They need a big year from J. Roll!!! Oh, when is pitchers & catchers? I'm jonesin'!

I think Pitchers and catchers for most clubs in around the 20th of next month.

How much time will it take up? I'm spread a little thin right now between family, work, church, etc.

You need to get your priorities straight, man. Family AND work before baseball? No, seriously, a live draft would take an hour or so and after that I spent maybe an hour a week on it and still finished second.

Oh, when do I have to let you know? You make it sound tempting. I just don't ever want to have to root for someone other than on the Phils (unless it helps them some way).

Mmmmm, therein lies the rub. Sometimes you gotta root for people you normally wouldn't want to. I never pick players I can't stand, I don't care how good they are. It does make the game of baseball as a whole more interesting, though. You pay a lot more attention to other teams.

My last couple live drafts I've had the number one pick. Last year, I would not go near A-Roid, even if he was going to come back from the hip thing, and I was a Yanks fan. I had one league where half my pitching staff were Red Sox starters. lol Talk about crossed priorities. :)

Louis, if we keep the league small, it would be very new-comer friendly. We even have the option for NL/AL only leagues if we'd want that.

Oh, please, make it all of the league. :)

I don't think I have it in me fellas. If you really get shorthanded I'll reconsider, but it doesn't really seem like something I would enjoy keeping up with.

I knew you weren't a true fan! :verysad

I'm kidding. Fantasy leagues aren't for everyone. I have my wife help with mine. That usually lasts about 2 days.
