hi, i'm mark whittington, a creation~centered heretic, 55, single and currently celibate, "saved" @ age 14 southern baptist, Temple Oaks Baptist in Houston, TX, then "free-will," evangelical, charismatic, a short stint in prosperity gospel, i guess, with a side of messianic in there somewhere, oh...oneness pentecostal then-

-don't recall actually getting re-baptized though, hmm; not sure how i avoided that-

-but anyway, "spoke in tongues" (by way of Paul's "baby" account) while there, found out somehow that God is not out to punish us, but nourish us, not sure if the lack of Scriptural cohesion prevalent in the apostate church caused that or what, um, i guess it really happened the day i first heard an OP pastor disconnect those "who ate and drank at His table" from "you evildoers," right in front of God and everybody, in a sermon no less, and then witnessed "crowds amazed" later that day, in private reflection, so, i was kind of given a view of the counterfeit, tares tongues, and then tongues from the Word, to my mind, so that served to de-program me from OP, learned a lot there, though, root~wise, still go to one every now and then, just to ask a few uncomfortable questions-

-gotta bring the elderly parents, after all-

-so, i pretty much became just a backslidden apostate then, aged 20 or so, air navy, Patriotic Christian, did all the other dumb things, then, too, came back to Christ about ten years ago, picked it up @ OP again for a short time, discovered Matthew Fox, and became Creation~Centered about then, got led to Word about two weeks ago (on another forum), so, found Paul's "meeting Him in the air" experience, drunk on the distilled wine @ 9 am, pretty much been drunk since then, i guess...and ya, that's all i got.

ntmy guys! :D

Bojangles has the best Cajun filet biscuits...the meat is always poking out the sides.
But it's basically a chicken breast deep fried and placed inside of a fresh baked biscuit.

They make ya fat...but dang...whatta way to get there.

ha that'll be the day, that i get fat lol. so, chicken-in-a-biscuit! ok, well alas, the chicken is frozen and the biscuits would be from scratch, and mom has already commenced the turkey thing for tomorrow, we invited a bunch of Native Americans-

-not sure how that's gonna go over-

-so i guess i'll hafta make do with some eggs on toast and some awesome chicken reduction from a chicken we got for like $32 that i couldn't bring myself to throw any of it out, and then i hafta actually get out of my chair and go do something in the yard, to i guess impress the Native Americans tomorrow, so sorry no pix of chicken bix today, but i'll be back tomorrow, prolly like 7 or 8 in the eve, and do a bit of lurking then! see you there! :D

Hi Mark, and it's a pleasure to welcome you to our Christian fellowship in Jesus' name.
According to your list you've been there, done that, and are now doing this.
Was your stint at Oneness also called Holiness? My grand-mother was into that, but
God received her anyway. One of us does one thing for God, and the other another but
in Christ God's love is sufficient.
:wave2

yes, i believe that they have gotten into assuming the mantle of "Holiness," also, seems like maybe about the time they started placing hands of protection--on Carnival Barkers who have openly refuted God and works unto rebound--"against concentrated satanic attack," i believe is the searchable quote, and other than that i will just say that i seriously doubt our Creator plants trees to torture them, but rather is a Master Gardener Who best knows what His Trees need to grow; but it is we who must reap what we sow.

It is we who must reap what we sow.
If we in the one body of Christ were subject 100% to that, I for one would be dead without hope. Jesus is altogether lovely and as to judgment our Father sees us as born of Him at this very time, and adopted into all the heirship provided by Him. I will add that His continuing work in us is not finished, and as Steve Harvey says concerning something gone bad: don't trip, God ain't finished with me yet. :)

ok, well, kid yourself or do not, you will reap what you sow; you are, 100%, subject to that, and i have never even heard of the Christian doctrine that has as one of its premises escape from consequences, wadr.
