So what does everyone think about Terry Bradshaw, Boomer Esiason and Brentson Buckner having a say in who will be the mythical national champion?

My vote has always been for a shorter schedule and a playoff system. I'd rather see things decided on the field as much as possible.

I'm with Scott on this one, but it would only require maybe 1 less regular season game. Have the top 8 play in one bracket, and treat these games like the bowl games. Keep the smaller bowls as well, except hold them in brackets too according to ranking of the BCS.

This isn't perfect either, but it will prove who should have been there in the end.

What a game that was last night. I was glad to see Texas finally put an end to USC's dominance in college football. It was amazing to see the Trojans unable to stop Young even when everybody knew a QB draw was coming on 4th & 5.

I hope Vince Young, Reggie Bush, Lendale Wight, and Brady Quinn all decide to come out as that would make for a loaded NFL Draft this April.

That would basically fold the USC program, no weapons except 1 receiver who will probably go pro next year. :-D
