I read this earlier, but couldn't post due to techno hitch:-
http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/200 ... 34.42.html
What hit me most strongly was a brief quote, but my speed-read just now couldn't see where Billy Graham was recently asked what is the biggest problem facing the modern church
He said racial tensions
Much has been said about greater success in outreach via churches focussing on folk with special shared interests/circumstances
But a vital part of the gospel is the horizontal dimension of the cross: what impacts the unsaved most is how Christ 'tears down the walls of partition, reconciling old & young, rich & poor, black & white, slave & free: all becoming one new man in Christ'
Jesus said, 'This is how the world will know that you are mine..love one another'
Any thoughts?
