How does one go about being a Christian? Certainly there is more to it than just reading the Bible.
 
you dont you let Christ do it through the holy spirit Galatians 2:20. -John 14:16 :yes
 
One must confess and repent along with all mentioned above :amen
 
Has God changed?

James 2:23 Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness . .

Acts 16:31 Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved . .

Romans 10:13-14 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed?

that does not make you a christian.. that is part of our walk. we have to ;let Christ live in us.
