Being ashamed of feeling annoyed, angry

I have had anger issues since I was bullied in grammar school. At first I cried when the kids teased me, but one day I grabbed one of the bullies by the hair and pulled as hard as I could. When I look back, that was a sad day for me. My life changed. Three arrests later, as a young adult, I got into therapy. Then I found God and asked him to take my anger away. He said he was going to leave just enough to stand up against social injustice. Also, if it were not for my anger I would still be with my ex who used to beat me up. When I was free I forgave him. I am not condoning anger, but now and then it helps you.

For years I blamed my "inner child" on my anger. Then one day my therapist said: "Susan, let's face it. It is time for you to grow up." Duh. That had never occurred to me. I was stuck in the past and as SteveBolts tells me it is time to move on. I need God to do this. Change is hard for me. I cling to bad habits even when they hold me back. I guess this is why I call myself an addict. I need to learn moderation in all things, except alcohol and drugs. Those I had to let go of completely. Finally, despite my anger issues I have come a long, long way. I have not been arrested for 50 years. Thank you God. Everyone: TAKE CARE

Why should I feel ashamed of feeling angry?
And I'm not angry anyway. I just wish people would stop saying I'm angry because I'm knot.
And I'm glad you think I'm too cool to get angry. That's the most important thing. My image.

LOL I'm not angry either. But I was angry. But then I stopped being angry because you said you weren't angry anymore. So we're both not angry anymore even though we have been angry in the past. Thank God Jesus got angry at least once in Scripture. This makes me happy ☺

Uncool people are angry, but so are cool people and even God gets angry, if he didnt people wouldnt be sent by demons to hell, and God would of saved everyone. Its always good to be just in our anger, i am talking to myself too.
