Being single DOES have it's advantages....
---When I come home from work in the evenings, my home looks exactly like I left it in the morning...
---I can watch what I want on tv...WHEN I want...I don't have to worry about missing CSI or Survivor because a sports game is on...or something....
---I can talk on the phone as much as I want to without making someone feel left out...
---I can go days without shaving my legs and no one would ever know Not that I ever actually do that or anything... :
---I can walk around the house wearing whatever I want...there's no one to impress
---My money is mine....all mine! :P
---I don't have to hear snoring while I sleep or worry about someone stealing my covers...
---The bathroom sink stays relatively clean since I don't shave my face and leave hair everywhere...
---The toilet seat stays where it belongs...down!
---Dirty clothes stay where they belong...in the hamper!
---I get off cheap on Valentines Day.... :
---I can burp and poot freely... not that I ever do that either... :
---I can have girly bedsheets
---Don't have to worry about getting along with inlaws...
Yeah, I've grown fond of single life for all the reasons listed above...having a boyfriend will take some getting used to on my part. I've always been independent...and being a single mom I have no choice BUT to be. I am the cook, the maid, the shopper, the provider, the nurse, the teacher, and the banker all wrapped up into one...I do it all. So, yeah for once I would love to have some of that burden...just some...fall on someone else's shoulders for a change. It's a comforting thought to think of someone taking care of me...
I'm content not being married, but would be a lie if I said I didn't want to be. I would love to be given the chance to be a wife to someone God has planned for me...to relinquish the control over to my husband...There used to be a time I never thought I would say those words because I am such a control freak and actually enjoy being in charge of things. But God has really been changing who I am...I believe He's just preparing me for a Godly marriage. (Hoping is more like it... )
