The Business Of Faith Healing

I believe in miracles but not modern day miracle workers. The Bible is clear in James chapter 5 that it is "the prayer of faith" which heals the sick--not the shenanigans of a false prophet! I have yet to see anyone that qualifies as a legitimate miracle worker today. I'd like to see Benny Hinn heal ONE cripple.

When a miracle worker does come along, he will be the antichrist. The False Prophet and the Antichrist will be empowered by Satan to work miracles and deceive a lost world.

If there are no legitimate faith healers, then why are there so many people claiming the gift of healing? A FRAUD ?

God does his work through people, its not a bad thing.

How to tell? Well, anytime someone is 'healing' people in a very large forum, wowing the crowds then passing the plate for money, I get suspicious.

I agree, I too have seen healing, but I have very serious doubts about Benny Hinn or any other televangelist for hat matter. They are all out for money and nothing else, I cant think of a worse kind f blasphemy than getting rich off of the name of Jesus.

Yes, faith is what heals. Jesus made that perfectly clear, several times.

I've known for years Benny Hinn is a fake.
Remember, if you aren't serving Jesus, you're serving Satan.

I saw him in person, and he did this "slain in the spirit" thing to me, and a bunch of others on stage.
He touched my forehead, and I really DID fall backwards, and temporarily lose consciousness, for a few seconds.

I wonder what that was? It was freaky. At the time, I thought I was saved, but, I was not.
I'm convinced Angley is a tool of the devil.

Some are much better than others. I do enjoy watching Charles Stanley, David Jeremiah, etc. I can even sit through Doug Bachelor most the times. As for most the other snake charmers... :-?

I hear ya! I don't watch a lot of "Christian TV" but I do enjoy Perry Stone and a local show here in Utah called heart of the matter.

I am fortunate in one way that I haven't Christian TV, but years back I use to watch the early hour morning shows between 5 and 6 AM of US televangilists, such as Benny Hinn, Copeland, James, and Joyce Meyer. I always Bereaned their Scriptures, and was always amazed as they used all the sales gimmicks at the end.

As for touching the screen and being healed, the "angel of light" can also do that through "magick".

I've always asked of the many who experienced such healings, how long tdid their healing last? Was the healing from our Lord Jesus Christ or from a false christ?

Well there was one elderly gentleman who was "healed" of his poor eyesight by Hinn. When the man got home, he stumbled over some furniture, fell down and fractured his hip and leg. :o

I guess Benny shouldn't have broken the man's glasses. 8-)

I have seen Benni Hinn a couple of times ... Why do the so called Christian TV channels even broadcast these questionable speaker's programs - if it is a false teaching then it shouldn't be shown on the "Christian " channels. A while back I saw a guy by the name of Wright talking about cancer - He claims that if we have bitterness and unforgiveness in our hearts we are prone to getting cancer and he claims to have prayed over people and they have been cured after the person has made things right with the one he or she had issues with.

I don't believe any of this should be on any channel at all, but the $$$ is more important than the truth. I don't know Joni, I hear a lot of preaching about how to prosper, how to get healed, but VERY little on "how to get saved".
