I have that book, but I never read it?
I bought it when I worked in a christian book store.

Now I will have to find it and read it. Ok I found it and it looks like I started it but never finished it

Jill,

I have look at it and it does look interesting. I have always prayed God word so maybe that is why it caught my eye.

I will show you some of what is in it,

My Father, Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures throughout all generations. You, my Lord, are faithful to all Your promises and loving toward all You have made. (Ps.145:13)

Father, I also pray that I will not be like those in the parable of the sower represented by the seed on the rock. They receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away. (Luke 8:13) Help me to receive Your Word and hang on to it tightly when the time of testing comes.

Father, help me to clothe myself with humility toward others, because You oppose the proud but give grace to the humble. (1Pet.5:5) I will never live a day that I am not in need of Your grace, so please help me maintain an attitude that welcomes it.

Those are some of what is in the book. I think now that I have it out I will continue to read it :angel:

i havent done that book of hers, but i have done a couple others and they've all been great!
