Bible says there are other gods, and says there are idols. 2 different things. But we are to only worship the LORD.

1 Corinthians 8:5-6 KJV
For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) [6] But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.


Psalm 82:1,6 KJV
God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods. [6] I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.


Exodus 12:12 KJV
For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord.

Numbers 33:4 KJV
For the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, which the Lord had smitten among them: upon their gods also the Lord executed judgments.


John 10:34-36 KJV
Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? [35] If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; [36] Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

Most gods are not real. It really boils down to this however, there are two real Gods. You will be granted everlasting life if you serve Jehovah, if you choose not to serve Him, you will be cast into the lake of fire with the other god satan.

Most mythology is wrong. There are more beings than God, angels, demons, people, animals, and death. But we are to only worship the Lord.
 
Anything that we put above the true God of all creation giving it first place in our life becomes a god and an idol to us they we bow down to and worship.

Exo 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Exo 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
Exo 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

There are many gods and many idols as anything we put above the true God of all creation becomes an idol to us that we bow down to and worship.

Psa 115:7 They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.
Psa 115:8 They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.
