Separation of church and state shouldn't also mean to lessen the rights to freely express a person's religion. I get the argument that being endorsed by the state is what the group is fighting against, but I just don't buy it. Often a community is what descides to put up religous decorations, and it's part of the community not state. It's a shame that the orginization Freedom from religion makes great efforts to remove a community's ability to express itself in it's beliefs. Diverse customs are a good thing and in a community opens people to different cultures and kindness to different people. And it's a good thing when those are expressed in a comunity. But God is frought against even being shown, alluded to, or celebrated if it's on public property, or paid by government resources. It's such a shame in my opinion.

They won't cry for separation of pyramid and state. I'm not just talking about 6th grade history class teaching about ancient Egypt.

That doesn't make sense. Maybe try explaining what you mean by pyramid and state. Otherwise what's the use of saying it? It'll only add confusion.

That'd be nice. I'd like to know what he's talking about, and it won't detract from this thread. Thanks Reba. :)

Just start with Learning about Nimrod, his nations, and what he has spawned. Was the church the state was with really the "church"? I'd start a thread on these concepts, but this site doesn't seem to cool with discussing prophecy.

I still have no clue what you are talking about or how this relates to the picture of Jesus. Seems it's just causing confusion for the rest of us. Why not just speak clearly in stead of causing confusion?

It relates not to the picture of Jesus, but the FFRF, ACLU, The State, and the Schools.

In the end, we lose the battle because we submit our kids to what the state wishes to teach instead of "raising them up in the way they should go - Solomon". We are not of this world, we are foreigners, our citizenship is not here. We're salt. Not a sugar coating.

I understood that you were saying separation of church and state doesn't prevent teaching of all the Egyptian gods that we and many others consider false, so why should it prevent schools from teaching about Christ who is considered to be false to a lot of people too.

That and the fact that there is a pyramid on the dollar bill which could be considered a releligous symbol. Yet public schools won't allow this image of Jesus.
