Dear Dr. Graham:I've heard it said that heaven will be just like the Garden of Eden. Is that true? But if it is, how do we know Satan won't come around and trick us into sinning, just like he did with Adam and Eve?
--J.F.

Dear J.F.: Yes, heaven will be similar to the Garden of Eden, because in heaven we will walk with God and be free of sin and death and hell--just as Adam and Eve were before Satan tempted them and they turned their backs on God.But in heaven we don't need to fear saran or wonder if he is going to tempt us and cause us to fall away from God and the way adam and eve did. The reason is because at the end of time satan will be imprisoned by God forever and ever allowed to do his evil work again.

Something is awfully wrong with bolded part.

Are you sure you don't notice?

Heaven is not on earth. Heaven is for God, Jesus and all other spiritual being's habitation place. We human will live on paradise earth in perfect condition.

Billy Graham did not state that Heaven would be identical to the Garden of Eden; he said that it will be similar.

We human will live on paradise earth in perfect condition.

I thought you believed that the 144,000 will be in Heaven. They are human. Aren't they?

They will be spiritual beings when they resurrect.

You are reading more than what he is saying. I don't believe Billy Graham believes in paradise earth.

You are probably right because Billy Graham never mentioned paradise earth; you did.

So you don't believe in paradise earth? What will happen to the earth when Jesus reigns? It will disappear?

Jesus reigns now. He's my King, is he yours? Eventually God will speak a new creation; a new heaven and a new earth. This will be as the pre fall garden of Eden in that it will be devoid of sin. Paradise is being in the presence of God. The new creation will be paradise for believers. See Revelation 21

Then why do we still have wars, poverty, disease, sickness, hatefulness, racism and etc...? Didn't Jesus say that we will have perfect world with perfect body???? Jesus says there will be no more sorrows when He is in charge.

I thought JWs believed that Jesus has been ruling from Heaven since He returned "invisibly" in 1874...? If you believe this, and yet God still allows the presence of sin on earth, I fail to see why you have any right to object to the belief that Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords even now, even if we deny that He returned invisibly in 1874, as we Christians await His ultimate and final return to the earth where the evil one and his minions will be restrained.

blessings,
ken

Who are you talking to? No one in this thread is JW. And what is your point about OP?

epistemaniac, you have the wrong year. JWs believe he returned invisibly in 1914. If I'm not mistaken, 1874 was an earlier date that Russel set. When Jesus didn't return in that year, it was moved up to 1914. When he didn't return in that year either, then they "explained" it by saying that it was an invisible return.

But Jesus return is not secret. Nor will there be a secret "rapture". Jesus warned his hearers:

So, if they tell you, ‘Look, he is in the desert,’ do not go out; if they say, ‘Look, he is in the inner chambers, do not believe it. For as the lighting [of the Sun] comes from the east and shines to the west, so will be the coming of the Son of man. Matthew 24:26,27

When the sun rises, everyone knows it. Likewise, when the Son returns, everyone will know it.
