There are 85 reports of organic remains in fossils, some supposedly half a billion years old. A global flood makes more sense of the data than the mainstream timeline.

Yes, for a long time, paleontologists have known that some organic molecules can exist for many millions of years under the right conditions. Decay rates of some of them are extremely long in the absence of oxygen.

Since there's neither evidence nor scriptural support for a global flood, that's not a concern.
