Psalm 103; 1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

I remembered that today is the anniversary of the day me and about a dozen other co-workers found out we were losing our jobs. I've been thinking about how much closer I am to Christ now than I was a year ago and how great the Lord has been over that last year. Even just today, I have a lot to sing praises about.

Its easy to dwell on everything that's wrong. Sometimes you have to tell your soul to dwell on the good instead.

So, so true. Some days you have to make a serious effort to find the good and dig deep just st see a sliver of light. But i think those seasons are but small windows in time where we grow the most.
