"Bless Your Heart" Insults

Anyone else notice that a lot of Christians are really good at the "Bless Your Heart" insults? I think the term is backhanded compliments or something. I was talking to this... uh... "typical" Christian the other day and boy did she drop down a whollup of an insult but she did it so darn nicely.

Not really criticizing. Just curious if others have noticed this in their time...

Yep...I really noticed this when I lived in NC...those sweet Southern ladies could eviscerate a person ever so sweetly.

It's very hypocritical.
