I loved the book "Evolution of Consciousness" because it helped me realize the arrival of Christ in my consciousness and event that attracted widespread concern because it is linked up with some unbelievable happenings that everyone is able to see. Revelations were realized as my eyes started to open, my mind understood and saw the things that are true. This coming was in humility and reverence to Christ because it entered my heart so I could understand intellectually love.

I copied a few pages of the book "Evolution of Consciousness"

Chapter 1; Introduction
The Meaning of One God
The exceptional finding that there is one God awaits each one of us, giving us the ability to change our lives for the better. When we understand the true meaning of one God, our concept of god expands and builds a greater awareness of God’s presence within us. It is a journey towards unity and a new way of living. As we progress on this journey to oneness, we find our lives gradually transformed in a positive way, which includes both the conscious and the unconscious. This balance brings the discovery of a new reality along with a balance between the rational and the irrational, between the intellect and instinct, and between the conscious mind and the unconscious. As we acquire unity, we see that nothing exist in isolation so the nature of our being is unity, a unity of body, mind and spirit. Wholeness or holiness can be achieved with a watchful mind and the knowledge that everything is united in God, if old fears, doubts and prejudices wear away to make room for new ideas and understanding.
Unity is not a new concept, but we must open up to it to make it effective so it can change our lives, making us aware that our bodies are in harmony with God, and His power is within. God flows through every atom of our being fortifying, energizing and renewing, but we are not aware of it. Embracing and identifying with unity, instead of our minds easily opens our being to the influx of new ideas, new thoughts, new people, and the new situations that come into our experience.
Drawing upon the invisible forces of unity we can feel the oneness and see that responsibility, decision-making and optimism all flow together in one universal consciousness, where God is an obvious reality. When a deep awareness of unity is established, one benefits tremendously physically, mentally and spiritually because the habit of being positive is acquired, and God is no longer a closed concept, but an infinite vast always present consciousness. To begin our journey to a new life of unity we must see one God or Life beyond the myriad forms so we are not tricked into thinking that there are more than one God. My God is better than your god insinuates that there is more than one God. This statement is false and is a misuse of belief. The reading of this book will clear this up, but it must be slow and take time because when the concepts brought forth are understood, a sense or presence of something greater is invoked. It takes time to believe and accept the unifying force in one God and for the undesirable experiences accumulated to gradually disappear. We are either for or against unity so for something new to be born we need to pass from a sense of being isolated into a realization of oneness with everything. Unity can be achieved if we push the envelope and not reaffirm our limitations that our God is the true God again suggesting that there is more than one God. Defending limitations strengthens them limiting our beliefs and realities so to be successful we need the tool of knowledge to explore the unknown and find a deeper meaning in the word of God. With options and alternatives ignorance is not bliss, but a self imposed limitation. The knowledge in this book should be used as a tool to unlock the unknown areas of consciousness.
The first commandment is “I am the Lord thy God and thou shall not have strange Gods before Me.†This is the basis for the conviction that there is only one God, a belief that leads to the knowledge of unity, which once accomplished influences and helps us in our daily lives. There is only one God appearing before us, and this one God is for everyone embodying the secrets for successful living in His all-pervading consciousness. In the awareness of God’s omnipresence we realize that God is all loving and always present so there is no need to fear either man or his developments because God has full power. It doesn’t matter how negative or bad life can be because similar to Noah we can go into the ark of God’s all pervading consciousness and find protection from the flood of cruel experiences that drown us in unbearable agony. The vigilance to stay in the ark of pure consciousness takes discipline, but satisfies our basic spiritual need by acting as a counter-weight to the ever increasing nervous, mental and physical tensions in modern life. This counteraction to the deterioration caused by our daily fight for survival helps us to grow healthier and more relaxed as we become calm, less inclined to agitation, frustration and a bad frame of mind. Therefore, the reassuring first step to know the meaning of God is to develop the conscious awareness of His omnipresence, which is ancient and as modern as the space age. Dedication to the recognition of this one God as an art and the unity of all things in His consciousness as a science will eliminate the stress and hustle of modern life.
the site for the book is http://thinkunity.com

.

That link you provided is a link associated with the Unitarian Universalist.

And, it is a plug for classes given by a Unitarian Universalist Teacher/Leader: John Kuykendall who is an affiliate of the
Unitarian Universalist Association.

.

He is not associated with UU and doesn't give classes for UU. I don't think you have any proof of that fact, if you do please post it.

soma, every web forum that I've seen you post on you promote John Kuykendall's writings and the thinkunity.com web site of which also promotes his writings. And.... in your profile here, you have listed under the occupation as teacher.

Are you John Kuykendall?

Never mind..... I found the answer:

I noticed the email for John Kuykendall is the same as the one you use here.

You promoted yourself but you didn't say it's your web site that is here or your books listed in the book thread.

That's okay.... nothing wrong with promoting yourself.

However, "Christianity" compared to "spirituality which is collective of all demoninations" make for very debatable conversation.

hmmmmmm, Now about the content of your writings.....

Shall we proceed to make threads which discuss your "materials" your "teachings" ?

It should make for very interesting conversation.... wouldn't you say....now that we really know who you are.

so sorry soma,

I saw that you posted your advert for your classes on a UUA.org forum.
I thought the affiliation was with Unitarian Universalist because I saw the ad you place in their forum there and didn't think it was seperate from the beliefs of the Unitarian Universalists. I didn't think that someone would come to a board such as theirs and post anything other than Unitarian Universalist material. : http://www.uua.org/programs/forums/inde ... &topic=149

However, from reading much of your material..... I question what "spirituality" you adhere to.
It appears to me that you are not strictly of the Judeo-Christian teachings, but are more inclined to a collective mindset, in that you prefer to take a little bit of this and a little bit of that from ALL of philosophies and theologies.

There is nothing wrong with that per say, but I do wonder if all of them that you adhere to are in line with the Judeo-Christian teachings?

That would make all the difference in whether it is of true "Christ-ianity" or not.

Post a specific idea and we can discuss it. It is hard to talk about generalities.
