In the theology forum, I was recently asked to explain my views on women's equality. I actually had a book published on this subject in 2011.
My intention was to write a book that anyone could read over the course of a weekend. My hope was that people would have a clearer picture of God's heart towards women after reading it. I also tried to shed some light on the origins of patriarchy in the church. I hoped to demonstrate that oppressive traditions are not an accurate reflection of the life and ministry of Jesus, as recorded in the Bible.
