Books of the Bible, Bible Studies online?

I am looking for Bible studies on the books of the Bible for my wife and I to do. I am not looking for a study on marriage, just studies on the books of the Bible, preferably one at a time.

I would like for these studies to contain questions and things that my wife and I could sit down and answer. I would like to start with Romans if at all possible.

Hopefully they won't cost anything either. :lol

Here is a site with some simple questions. The method is to read through each chapter and answer the questions.

May I also suggest you listen to this guy explain hermeneutics ( the science of biblical interpretation) He's easy to listen to and if you get the point of what he is teaching you will start making real advances in your studies.:study

One more thing, if you come up against any difficult passages, there is some good commentaries and resources o this site. Just select the passage you want to learn about and all the options, from word and topical studies, through to Greek and commentaries are all there .

The first link is exactly what I am looking for, so thank you. It will allow us to do a Bible study together.

We're not looking to delve into a deep interpretation by using hermeneutics though. We just want to read the Bible and answer questions on what we have read. We're not looking to be scholars.

My wife has already lost a great deal of her cognitive thinking due to multiple sclerosis, so things must be simple and straightforward for her.

Thank you again for your reply.

Lol I understand. It's not that heavy, trust me. Give the first one a listen and you will see what mean. It's not for scholars as such but it is helpful.

Go on :thumbsup

As for your wife, I dunno, you may want to do the study first, then do it together and perhaps arrange some questions of your own that may suit her.

Good luck with it and I hope it goes well.

May I ask you where you are from? If you are in the uk I can get you simple study material from an organisation that does easy studies for the home and the questions are designed to arrouse discussion. I used them with some friends who were new christians and we found they were great.
