Born Again New Guy from NoVA

Hello everyone and peace be with you. My name is Michael and I was born again about three or four months ago.

I am really excited about the Rapture and all the new things I have learned about being saved. I was raised a Catholic but I never really got into that church mentally. I just went along with what they told me to do. So of course, after I left my parents house, I stopped going.

I made some big mistakes in my life and everything was taken away from me. My job, my self respect, and my dignity. All I had was my family and I thank God He left me with that.

When the whole world seemed to be turning its' back on me, there was only one person left I could turn to. That was God, and He was waiting for me. I cried in His arms and He comforted me. I realized that I had to lose everything, to see that all I had left and all that I needed was God.

I believe that through His divine intervention, I was lead on a path to really except Jesus as my Savior and to become a born again Christian. I do not know what gift He has given me to help His Church or what specific task He has in store for me, but I eagerly await His instruction. For now I am trying to live my life the way Jesus taught us, and to serve Him when the opportunity presents itself.

I have been looking for a church since I have been saved, but being raised Catholic has turned me away from organized religion. Right now I obey Jesus and his Word written in the Bible. But I still think it would be nice to associate with other Christians, and I love to talk about scripture and prophecy.

So here I am. A sinner. Born again in the Spirit of Jesus Christ. I hope to see you all one day at the gates of Heaven to praise God for eternity.

Welcome Michael in the name of Jesus to the CF Ministries. I hope in Christ that you enjoy fellowshipping with us, and that you'll be bless, as well as us being bless by you. We have a "Men's Locker Room" [by invitation] for discussions that may be private/personal and not for the viewing of women due to the subject, and visa versa with the "Ladie's Locker Room".

We respectfully inform/ask that before you enter any/all forums, please read the rules, and strickly abide by them so not to have any misunderstandings arise. And not reading them before you enter....is unacceptable reasoning if one should arise. We also request that when any/all moderators have given noticed on the boards, that it's immediately taken heed of the first time. No one is the exception from following the rules, members/moderators alike. And we would appreciate/request the display of the "Fruits of the Spirit" when communicating with "ALL" members [lost or saved]. This ministry is not of chaos, but of obedience/harmony/peace and the display of Christ love among us.

So outside of that....we hope in Christ that you have a great time! All of us are looking forward to getting to know you on the boards. We're thankful our Lord has led you here to be a part of the Body of Christ here at CF. May our Lord continue to be a Lamp at your feet, and may our Lord lead you to be a blessing to others as well. Welcome aboard, and Onward Christian Soldier! And enjoy yourself, have fun, we have some great brethern here to share the Word of God with.

We are bless Michael to have you here as a new babe in Christ....isn't it just the most wonderful life!

Hi Michael~

I am so blessed to hear you good witness of salvation. Praise the Lord! May God grant you boldness to share Him with your family and friends. :thumb I would suggest you find a church to attend asap. It is easy to be swept up into a lack of dicipleship when you are new to faith in Jesus. We all need to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord. Also, many false teachers and doctrines can lead us astray from the truth. :yes

I pray for our Lord to lead you to a good solid bible teaching church that is given the Holy Spirit to teach and preach and disciple you fully. :pray

sheshisown~
