Hebrews 2:9 says that Jesus by the grace of God should taste death for everyone. Jesus claims to be the savior of the whole world, John 3:17. This means that salvation has been provided for everyone. It doesn't matter if you are saved or unsaved, you belong to Jesus Christ, we have all been bought.
Paul said, "For you are all bought with a price: therefore, glorify God in your body and in your Spirit, which are God's" 1 Corinthians 6:20.
This is very serious, especially if you are unsaved. Jesus owns you and is free to do with you as he pleases. He most certainly has the right to judge us as he sees fit. When we were children, we belonged to our parents. If we didn't obey, we were disciplined. Same scenario. Now that we belong to Jesus, Jesus has the right to discipline us because he owns us, Colossians 3:25.
I think that I have been to the Lord's woodshed many times, Hebrews 12:6-8. Some years ago, I was talking to a young unsaved man about Christ. He said, "I am not like a dumb sheep, I am my own man". In the judgment he is going to find out that he belongs to Jesus Christ because he has been bought, whether he likes it or not.
The whole world belongs to Jesus Christ because he has bought it, everything belongs to Jesus Christ. When he returns, he will be returning to claim what is already his. Satan wants is to believe that he owns the world, his days are numbered. He doesn't own anything. All that belong to Satan will be cast into the lake of fire.
