I work in the pest control field and responded to a call from a customer.
I got there and they had ants in the bathroom.
I sat there and killed a few with my finger and told the woman that Windex (with ammonia) will kill ants and if she sees just a few, just spray them.
Then I saw her husband and told him the same - if you see a few spray with Windex.
He then told me that he refuses to kill ANY life - that includes ants.
I saw he was a Buddhist (sp?) and was wondering how to respond to these statements.
I had already killed some ants, and he pays for "PEST CONTROL" which kills files, ants, roaches, beetles, crickets, scorpions, spiders, and many other pests.
How can he justify paying money for me to kill insects while still thinking it is wrong for him to kill them?
Any comments?
