I took these photos, in my yard recently.

Beautiful! What part of the world do you live?

I couldn't imagine those types of flowers in full bloom and butterfies fluttering about around her in March, let alone in early April! We usually don't see that sort of thing around here until the weather warms up enough by the end of May. Of course, that's not to say though that we don't have flowers in full bloom in the spirng, but it's not until mid to late April or early May for our spring flowers to be in full bloom.

Okay, I looked up the orange butterlfy with the three white dots in the top of the wings... Looks like a Golf Frittillary. they range in areas far south, San Francisco Bay to Caja California: resident thoughtout southern U.S, into Mexico. Emigrating nothward into Great Bsin, Rockies, and Midwest, Great Lakes and mid-Atlantic states.

So I'm guessing you're from California? Yes, no? :D

There's another really beautiful butterfly coming around, a giant swallowtail, image-google Giant Swallowtail, and look at the first image. That's the one that keeps coming by.
