Butterfly

I am not a superstitious person, but I just have a question and want to ask if anybody has had this experience. I walk to the park everyday and speak with God and a white butterfly always passes by my left side. I have been going to the cemetery and taking care of my mom, dad, and brother's head stones and each time I visit there a white or yellow butterfly passes by my left side. I was at the cemetery yesterday and as soon as I got out of my car a butterfly landed on my left shoulder. I spent about 2 hours there and when I got home a white butterfly passed by my front porch steps twice....Am I looking too much into this or why do I always see butterfly's when I am praying or spending time with my family? Thank you....
 
Do you wear any perfume or lotion that may attracted them?

They are a lovely gift of God in nature for us to enjoy.

If you think they may be a special gift to you right now, who knows, God loves you so much. Just ask Him.

I guess one could ask, Could the use of perfume be a gift from God, too? (After all, it's mentioned in the Song of Solomon.)

I just take it as a sign that God is with me...the butterflies catch my attention without even paying attention that it has just been startling to me...I just wanted to know if anybody else has that experience or not. Thanks tho!

Seems to me anyway that especially in the Old Testament if ppl read closely enough, there are all sorts of things and images that Scripture uses to signify blessing or a spiritual lesson, whether perfume (Song of Solomon) or fine linen, earrings, nose ring, etc. in Ezekiel 16, and so forth...

I get that feeling...it is too obvious for me to not see it. I had called my daughter and told her about the butterflies and just as I told her a white butterfly flew by her window as we were speaking about it...it sounds crazy but I just had to talk about it to see if anybody else had those experiences. Thank you, thightower.

Anyway, I'm honestly not sure about their theological significance.

But anyway the butterfly motif is certainly popular as a tattoo... (and colorful, too!)
